Firmware Engineer (Staff/ Senior Level)
(Penang – Bayan Lepas)
Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware for highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets
- Participate in all aspects of product development, including specification definition, design,implementation and testing
- Coordinate and participate in software design and code review
- Perform necessary analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems requiringproper evaluation and analysis as well as make decisions that positively impact the project
- Define specifications which include software requirements for new software platform and/or new systemfeatures/solutions
- Create documents for Architecture & Design, and Message Sequence Chart (MSC)
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering with at least 3 years’(for Senior Engineer)/5 years’ (for Senior Staff Engineer) working experience or equivalen
- Experience in real-time embedded software development for communication devices, automotiveapplications, industrial automation and consumer products
